Heard Park

Located in Downtown North East, Heard Park features a large, open green space for a variety of different activities. This park includes a bandstand for hosting concerts and movies and playground with swings. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Gibson Park

The heart and center of North East. Gibson Park features the "Maid of the Mist" statue atop a water fountain that has lived in the center of the park since 1889. This beautiful, tree shaded park hosts community markets, 'cornhole' tournaments and plenty of space to play.
Creekside Park

Located alongside the scenic Sixteenmile Creek, this park includes plenty of green space and a "old-school" playground for kids of all ages.

There is something for everyone at the Howard Eaton Reservoir. There is a walking path which encircles the Reservoir, plenty of places to fish and forest trails for people and horses. This park includes a boat launch, which makes kayaking / canoeing very easy.
Gravel Pit Park

A fantastic park for large festivals and small gatherings. Gravel Pit includes many picnic pavilions, public restrooms, a playground, basketball courts and softball fields.

Historic Halli Reid Park, named for the first woman to swim across Lake Erie, is the best place to swim in Lake Erie in North East. This park also includes picnic groves, a playground and the best sunsets in Pennsylvania.

This beautiful nature park sits where Twentymile Creek meets Lake Erie. This park features lots of greenspace, excellent fishing opportunities on Fishermans Beach and a wonderful location to walk along the beach. Please note that this beach does NOT have life guards and swimming here is not advised.
